Welcome to fifth grade! Here is the fifth grade supply list--Please note that these items would be donated to your child’s classroom and shared by all children in a community manner. NO NAMES are necessary on these supplies. Thank you so much for your help!
2 three-subject spiral 8 1/2 x 11 college ruled notebooks - 1 RED and 1 GREEN only
1 package 8 1/2 x 11" white 20 lb. copy paper (500 sheets per package)
2 composition books (COLLEGE ruled, black and white speckled)
5 double pocket plastic folders with prongs – one of each color: red, green, yellow, blue and orange
2 highlighters
8 ultra fine black sharpies
2 24 count box of Crayola colored pencils
2 dozen sharpened #2 pencils Ticonderoga
1 pair of scissors
4 white polymer erasers (Pentel or Magic Rub – no pink)
2 3 x 3 Post-its
2 pencil sharpeners with a receptacle for catching shavings
1 4-pack of low odor dry erase Expo markers (Black)
8 Elmer's glue sticks
2 large box of Kleenex
2 rolls of paper towels
3 containers of disinfecting cleaning wipes
1 ruler-sized pencil box (you can reuse the one from 4th grade)
1 12-inch ruler

The fifth grade teachers at Los Alamitos Elementary will typically update their school supplies list on a yearly basis, we
try to update this list accordingly however we advise you to check with your child's fifth grade teacher and double check with the school, Los Alamitos Elementary, to see if there have been any changes to this year's fifth grade supply list.
A couple of things to keep in mind when ordering your fifth grade supplies, comsumable school supplies tend to run out long before the school year ends so take advantage of the back to school
offers and stock up on the basic supplies, your child's fifth grade teacher at Los Alamitos Elementary will thank you for that, and more importantly, your child's presence is the most important thing, the supplies are fifth to that and your teacher will
be more than understanding if you are unable to purchase all of the supplies on the list. Have a wonderful, safe and happy school year!
