First Grade School Supplies List

• Crayons 1 box of Crayola, 24 colors (no more than 24 please)
• Pencils 24 Ticonderoga pencils
• Scissors Fiskars, pointed with plastic handles
• Pocket folders 5 plastic folders with bottom pockets (one yellow, green, purple, red and blue)
• Glue Sticks 2 packages of Elmer’s purple glue sticks
• Eraser 2 big pink erasers
• watercolors 1 set Crayola
• Kleenex 1 box

• Plastic Pencil Box 6" x 9" plastic that snaps shut
• Scissors Fiskars, pointed with plastic handles
• Headphones

In addition, you can always build a starter kit of first grade school supplies and add to it as needed before the school year begins.

The first grade teachers at Benjamin Rush Elementary will typically update their school supplies list on a yearly basis, we try to update this list accordingly however we advise you to check with your child's first grade teacher and double check with the school, Benjamin Rush Elementary, to see if there have been any changes to this year's first grade supply list.

A couple of things to keep in mind when ordering your first grade supplies, consumable school supplies tend to run out long before the school year ends so take advantage of the back to school offers and stock up on the basic supplies, your child's first grade teacher at Benjamin Rush Elementary will thank you for that, and more importantly, your child's presence is the most important thing, the supplies are second to that and your teacher will be more than understanding if you are unable to purchase all of the supplies on the list.
