First Grade School Supplies List

• 1 standard sized book bag (no wheels please!)
• 2 composition books
• 2 box of crayons, 24 count, standard colors
• 2 packs of four glue sticks
• 2 packs of twelve yellow #2 pencils, sharpened
• 2 big pink erasers
• 1 pair of scissors, blunt tip
• 5 two-pocket folders (no prongs) in the following colors: blue, green, red, yellow and one student choice color
• 2 packs of four, black, Low Odor Expo Dry Erase Markers (fine tip)
• 1 plastic pencil box
• 2 black socks (cotton or crew) that will serve as erasers*
• 1 pair of earbuds or headphones
• 1 pack of post-it notes (any color)

• 2 boxes of Baby Wipes

In addition, you can always build a starter kit of first grade school supplies and add to it as needed before the school year begins.

The first grade teachers at Boonsboro Elementary will typically update their school supplies list on a yearly basis, we try to update this list accordingly however we advise you to check with your child's first grade teacher and double check with the school, Boonsboro Elementary, to see if there have been any changes to this year's first grade supply list.

A couple of things to keep in mind when ordering your first grade supplies, consumable school supplies tend to run out long before the school year ends so take advantage of the back to school offers and stock up on the basic supplies, your child's first grade teacher at Boonsboro Elementary will thank you for that, and more importantly, your child's presence is the most important thing, the supplies are second to that and your teacher will be more than understanding if you are unable to purchase all of the supplies on the list.
