First Grade School Supplies List

• 1 package of non-permanent Crayola Classic Broadline markers
• 1 package of Crayola colored pencils (12 count)
• 2 boxes Crayola crayons (24 count)
• 1 Crayola 8-color washable watercolors
• 1 package of Post-its
• 12 black chisel tip dry erase markers (Expo)
• 24 black fine tip dry erase markers (Expo)
• 4 fine tip Sharpie permanent markers
• Orange and yellow highlighters
• 4 ultra fine tip Sharpie permanent markers
• 12 Elmer’s glue sticks
• 24 Dixon Ticonderoga #2 pencils (sharpened)
• 4 Pentel Hi-Polymer Erasers
• 1 pair of 5” scissors (we recommend Fiskars because they are easier to cut with)
• 1 box Ziploc gallon bags or 1 box Ziploc sandwich bags
• 2 rolls of paper towels
• 1 full size box of tissue
• 6 containers of disinfecting cleaning wipes
• 2 wide ruled composition books (black and white cover
• 2 spiral bound wide ruled journals (blue cover)

In addition, you can always build a starter kit of first grade school supplies and add to it as needed before the school year begins.

The first grade teachers at Los Alamitos Elementary will typically update their school supplies list on a yearly basis, we try to update this list accordingly however we advise you to check with your child's first grade teacher and double check with the school, Los Alamitos Elementary, to see if there have been any changes to this year's first grade supply list.

A couple of things to keep in mind when ordering your first grade supplies, consumable school supplies tend to run out long before the school year ends so take advantage of the back to school offers and stock up on the basic supplies, your child's first grade teacher at Los Alamitos Elementary will thank you for that, and more importantly, your child's presence is the most important thing, the supplies are second to that and your teacher will be more than understanding if you are unable to purchase all of the supplies on the list.
