First Grade School Supplies List

• 1 pair of earphones or earbuds to use with Chromebooks
• 2 -poly pocket folders with holes—1 red & 1 blue if possible
• 1 – 8-ounce (SM) bottle of white glue (Elmer’s "Glue-All" Elmer's School Glue)
• 1 Fiskars small pointed, sharp scissors
• 1 5" X 8" hard plastic pencil box without a handle (no Zipper pouches)
• 1 box of 12-24 pack Crayola crayons (Twistables if possible)
• 1 box of 12-24 colored Crayola pencils (Twistables if possible)
• 8 low odor dry erase markers
• 8 large glue sticks (1.27 oz) – the small ones break too easily
• 1 ream of Astrobright colored paper (Any color is fine. No cardstock please.)
• 2 boxes of Kleenex (facial)
• 1 box of Ziploc bags with sliders: Girls-quart size, Boys-gallon size
• 1 container of baby or "Wet Ones" wipes
• 1 roll of paper towels
• 1 large container of Clorox or Lysol disinfecting wipes
• 1 Backpack without wheels

• Crayons and pencils
• Scissors
• Glue
• Erasers

In addition, you can always build a starter kit of first grade school supplies and add to it as needed before the school year begins.

The first grade teachers at Muir Fundamental will typically update their school supplies list on a yearly basis, we try to update this list accordingly however we advise you to check with your child's first grade teacher and double check with the school, Muir Fundamental, to see if there have been any changes to this year's first grade supply list.

A couple of things to keep in mind when ordering your first grade supplies, consumable school supplies tend to run out long before the school year ends so take advantage of the back to school offers and stock up on the basic supplies, your child's first grade teacher at Muir Fundamental will thank you for that, and more importantly, your child's presence is the most important thing, the supplies are second to that and your teacher will be more than understanding if you are unable to purchase all of the supplies on the list.
