• 1 set of headphones w/jack or USB connection
• 4 packages of 24 count #2 wooden pencils TICONDEROGA
• 6 boxes of Crayola crayons (24 count) (NO coloring pencils)
• 1 package of Crayola washable markers (assorted colors)
• 1 package dry erase markers (thin)
• 6 jumbo glue sticks
• 1 bottle of glue
• 2 plastic pocket folders with brads (yellow, green)
• 1 scissors (blunt tip)
• 1 package of colored construction paper (boys only)
• 1 package sheet protector 25 count (girls only)
• 1 package of cardstock (white)
• 2 primary composition books
• 4 wide-ruled composition books
• 1 wide-ruled spiral notebook
• 1 set of watercolors
• 6 large erasers (white)
• 1 school box
• 1 box of facial tissues
• 1 box of gallon size Ziploc bags (boys only)
• 1 box of quart size Ziploc bags (girls only)
• 1 Play-Doh (set of 4)
• 1 cup for drinking water
• 1 change of clothes
• 1 set of IPad headphones

Build a starter kit of kindergarten school supplies and add to it as needed before the school year begins.

The kindergarten teachers at Houston Elementary will typically update their school supplies list on a yearly basis, we try to update this list accordingly, however, we advise you to check with your child's kindergarten teacher and double check with the school, Houston Elementary, to see if there have been any changes to this year's kindergarten supply list.

A couple of things to keep in mind when ordering your kindergarten supplies, comsumable school supplies tend to run out long before the school year ends so take advantage of the back to school offers and stock up on the basic supplies, your child's kindergarten teacher at Houston Elementary will thank you for that, and more importantly, your child's presence is the most important thing, the supplies are second to that and your teacher will be more than understanding if you are unable to purchase all of the supplies on the list.
