Now that we are living in a new world with Covid 19, it is more important than ever to make sure our kids stay clean and safe at school. Hand sanitizers and wipes will be on the top of most supply lists this year for all grade levels.
Some Kindergarten teachers may also ask for a change of clothes, a backpack, (no rolling backpacks…ever!) and perhaps even a nap mat and blanket. Again, check with your child’s teacher to clarify what is needed.
At the end of the day, the most important thing is that your child attend class. Don’t worry so much about the exact supplies, as the teachers are usually very flexible. Some even combine all supplies so that everyone has access to them.

One last thing…the pocket folder is fairly important. We suggest plastic pocket folders as 1 of them will be used as a “daily” folder and will usually come home with the student for the parents to review. This folder will need to withstand daily wear and tear so plastic is always best. You may also need to replace the folder as the year moves forward.
