Second Grade School Supplies List

• 4 plastic pocket folders with brads (1red, 1 blue, 1 yellow, 1 green)
• 2 large erasers
• 1 composition book
• 1 Diplomat planner (given to each child)
• 2 boxes of crayons (24 count)
• 1 pack of colored pencils (12 count only)
• 2 pair of scissors
• 2 packages #2 pencils
• 1 small plastic pencil box or pencil pouch
• 1 pack highlighters
• 1 Ruler (with metric and standard measurement)
• 2 pairs of earbuds or headphones (not wireless)
• 1 Box of Tissues
• 1 Bottle of Hand sanitizer

• Color copy paper
• Ziploc Bags (snack, gallon, and/or quart size)
• 1 ream of copy paper
• WIDE black Sharpies
• Baby Wipes

The second grade teachers at Diplomat Middle School will typically update their school supplies list on a yearly basis, we try to update this list accordingly however we advise you to check with your child's second grade teacher and double check with the school, Diplomat Middle School, to see if there have been any changes to this year's second grade supply list.

A couple of things to keep in mind when ordering your second grade supplies, comsumable school supplies tend to run out long before the school year ends so take advantage of the back to school offers and stock up on the basic supplies, your child's second grade teacher at Diplomat Middle School will thank you for that, and more importantly, your child's presence is the most important thing, the supplies are second to that and your teacher will be more than understanding if you are unable to purchase all of the supplies on the list.
