SECOND GRADE SCHOOL SUPPLIES LIST

• 4 Colored PLASTIC folders with BRADS Blue, Red, Yellow, Green (no paper folders)
• 1 White 1.5-inch binder with clear insert
• 1 12 count package colored pencils
• 2 Highlighters (any color)
• 2 24 count package Crayola Crayons
• 1 10 count broad line Crayola Markers
• 2 Ticonderoga brand sharpened pencils 12 count (24 total)
• 1 Blunt tip Scissors
• 12 Elmer’s Glue sticks
• 6 Fine tip EXPO markers
• 6 Chisel tip EXPO markers
• 1 Pair of Headphones with volume control
• 2 Boxes of Tissues
• 2 Containers Lysol disinfectant wipes
• 2 Roll of Paper Towels
• 1 Package of sandwich sized Ziploc Bags (40 count)
• 1 Package of gallon sized Ziploc Bags
• 1 3-ring Pencil Pouch (with grommets that can fit in a binder)
• 1 Plastic Pencil box (standard size)

The second grade teachers at Hillsboro Elementary/ Middle School will typically update their school supplies list on a yearly basis, we try to update this list accordingly however we advise you to check with your child's second grade teacher and double check with the school, Hillsboro Elementary/ Middle School, to see if there have been any changes to this year's second grade supply list.

A couple of things to keep in mind when ordering your second grade supplies, comsumable school supplies tend to run out long before the school year ends so take advantage of the back to school offers and stock up on the basic supplies, your child's second grade teacher at Hillsboro Elementary/ Middle School will thank you for that, and more importantly, your child's presence is the most important thing, the supplies are second to that and your teacher will be more than understanding if you are unable to purchase all of the supplies on the list.
