Second Grade School Supplies List

• 1 large, sturdy (wheel less) standard size backpack (must fit a 9x12 folder) labeled with student’s name

• 1 set of over the ear headphones (with auxiliary plug and labeled with student's name)
• 1 box Crayola crayons, 24 pack basic colors - No Rose Art brand colored pencils or crayons
• 1 box Crayola pre-sharpened colored pencils, 24 pack - No Rose Art brand colored pencils or crayons
• 2 12 packs of Ticonderoga pencils (sharpened)
• 2 pink pearl erasers
• 1 scissors, sharp, 5 inches
• 1 Mead composition book (black & white notebook wide ruled lined paper ONLY)
• 2 Expo Marker - White Board Marker (Black only Please)
• 2 black fine-tip Sharpies
• 2 black flair pens (fine tipped)
• 4 Giant/Jumbo (1.27 oz) Avery or Elmer’s glue sticks (no purple glue please!)
• 1 Crayola Watercolor Paints (16 colors)
• 1 box of baby wipes
• 1 box of Kleenex

A couple of things to keep in mind when ordering your second grade supplies, comsumable school supplies tend to run out long before the school year ends so take advantage of the back to school offers and stock up on the basic supplies, your child's second grade teacher at Louisa May Alcott Elementary will thank you for that, and more importantly, your child's presence is the most important thing, the supplies are second to that and your teacher will be more than understanding if you are unable to purchase all of the supplies on the list.
