Second Grade School Supplies List

Please DO NOT put your child’s name on any of these items as we share all these supplies.

Requested to be donated by parents:


• 1 10-ct. broad thick Crayola markers
• 1 12-ct fine line Crayola markers
• 1 12-ct. Crayola colored pencils
• 2 12 ct. #2 Ticonderoga pencils, presharpened
• 1 Fiskars scissors, blunt tip
• 4 expo dry erase markers, blue or black only
• 1 dry eraser
• 1 Elmer’s Glue white, 4 oz bottle
• 1 Elmer’s Glue stick
• 5 reams of white copy paper, 20 lb.
• 1 ream colored copy paper, Astro bright: yellow, green, or blue
• 1 ream cardstock paper, white 65 lb
• 1 Scotch tape refill
• 1 4x6 index cards pack, white and lined
• 1 Sharpie, Ultra fine, black
• 1 pack Sharpie colored
• 1 pack post it notes, any size or color
• 4 cube boxes facial tissue paper
• 1 container Clorox disinfecting wipes
• 1 box Ziploc freezer: sandwich, quart, gallon
• 1 foaming antibacterial hand soap
• 1 2-pack Magic Rub eraser

• 1 set of headphones
• 1 mouse (optional)








The second grade teachers at Torrey Pines Elementary will typically update their school supplies list on a yearly basis, we try to update this list accordingly however we advise you to check with your child's second grade teacher and double check with the school, Torrey Pines Elementary, to see if there have been any changes to this year's second grade supply list.

A couple of things to keep in mind when ordering your second grade supplies, comsumable school supplies tend to run out long before the school year ends so take advantage of the back to school offers and stock up on the basic supplies, your child's second grade teacher at Torrey Pines Elementary will thank you for that, and more importantly, your child's presence is the most important thing, the supplies are second to that and your teacher will be more than understanding if you are unable to purchase all of the supplies on the list.
