We are sending you this note to wish you a very safe and wonderful summer vacation. Parents, please continue to provide multiplication activities over the summer. Fourth graders are expected to begin the year knowing multiplication facts to 10. Please visit our E.B.S. school website for recommended sites. We are providing an optional supply list. All items that your child will need for school are required to be provided by the school, however, many parents prefer to purchase their own supplies. Previous families have found it helpful to have the suggested supply list ahead of time, should you desire to purchase supplies for your child. This list of Recommended Student Materials is for parents/caretakers that wish to provide personal supplies for their 5th grader. *PLEASE NOTE: NO 3-ring binders in 5th grade Pay close attention to MINIMUMS and MAXIMUMS. These sizes are based on usage and storage capability. 1 GRAPH SPIRAL NOTEBOOK - 150 -180 pg MINIMUM (or 2 GRAPH SPIRAL notebooks 80-100 pg each) Purchase these notebooks as soon as you see them - they sell out quickly.
